Years ago, a scientific mission set out into deep space, but its equipment began failing and a traitor seemed to be hiding among the crew. Now a lone spacecraft drifts among the stars, waiting for the rest of its astronauts to rejoin the research expedition. For our hero, though, boredom is never an option.
You step into the shoes of astronaut Odysseus Kosmos, a likable and easygoing spaceship engineer who loves his coffee and pastries. He has been calmly waiting for his fellow crew members to return to the vast space research station. Keeping him company is Barton Quest, a remarkably charming robot. Barton runs on artificial intelligence (AI) and is clearly far more clever than he lets on. Could he be hiding something?
Keeping the massive ship running, carrying out research, and investigating strange phenomena caused by a nearby supermassive black hole leave our hero without a moment to relax. Even as time flows unevenly around him, the player helps him get past every obstacle, solve a mountain of puzzles, and welcome the other astronauts back aboard.
