To stay alive, you'll need to repel waves of walkers, gather essential supplies, build sturdy defenses, expand your shelter with new rooms, and recruit other survivors. As your base grows, it will attract enormous zombie hordes, so smart resource management and careful planning are your only real chance of survival.

Your main goal is to last as long as you can across a ruthless, zombie-ridden post-apocalyptic landscape while working toward halting the deadly viral outbreak before it claims every remaining life.

The game is organized into daily cycles. On day one, you simply need to hold out until nightfall. During the day, your survivors automatically defend against incoming enemies. Once night arrives, you take direct control of the shelter and prepare for what lies ahead. If you have empty beds at the end of each day, new recruits will move in and join your team. Every night, rations are handed out automatically, with each survivor consuming 2 units of food and 2 units of water per day.

Nighttime is for upgrading structures, crafting ammunition, adding new rooms, and reinforcing defensive barricades. Be sure to build rainwater collection filters and set animal traps, since these are your main sources of clean drinking water and food. Squad members can be upgraded with earned experience points to boost their attributes and equip better weapons. Captured zombies can be locked up and later released against hostile rival camps or traded for ammo and other vital supplies.
