Zold:out is a tactical role-playing game that blends deck-building with turn-based combat. ACTION SYSTEM

Action points and playing cards sit at the core of the gameplay. Each character starts with 12 action points, which they can spend on different actions during combat. How many action points remain will determine how long the following rounds last. You can spend all of them at once to deal heavy damage, or hold some back for greater mobility and strategic flexibility. The choice is yours as you decide how your characters fight.

WEAPON DECK

Players can build their own custom decks from a large selection of weapon cards, each with its own special ability. Every card can be paired with different characters, opening up a broad range of tactical options and playstyles. As you progress through the levels, you'll unlock new weapon cards and keep refining your deck to find the best combination of cards and characters for victory. Weaving deck building into the action adds another layer of depth and personalization, letting you truly make the game your own.

BATTLEFIELD

The battlefield has no grid, freeing players from the limits of traditional grid-based gameplay so they can craft more effective plans and tactics. You can move freely across the battlefield, allowing precise, methodical strategies to outmaneuver your opponents and secure victory.

BOSS BATTLES

The Zold:out development team has poured considerable thought and effort into designing a wide variety of unique bosses and monsters. To come out on top of each boss fight, you'll need to think strategically, adapt your tactics and team to the specifics of the encounter, and make quick decisions. Simply leveling up won't be enough to defeat such fearsome foes. You'll need to devise original approaches to overcome the obstacles they place in your path and find creative answers to the threats they pose. Think creatively, play strategically, and use your skills and cunning to triumph over even the toughest adversaries.

HOW TO GET STARTED IN ZOLD:OUT!

Wands are a weapon type that excels at long-range and ranged attacks. A short tutorial walks you through the basics at the start, so follow the instructions and tap as you play. After about 3 stages, the tutorial battle and training are complete, and from then on you can play freely. Now let's move on to the main story.

Broken weapons can occasionally be found, and repairing them is inexpensive compared to mass-producing new ones. A character's starting weapons are fairly weak, so equip them with weapons forged through blacksmithing. Many weapons crafted at blacksmithing level 1 are stronger, cheaper, and easier to use than the initial gear. Raise your blacksmithing level and start mass-producing them.

Treasure chests may appear alongside enemies during battle. Attack a chest to destroy it and claim its contents. Try to attack and collect before wiping out the enemies or between waves.
