### How do I install an app? There are three ways to install an app. * * The most common method is to import the app from your phone, which requires the app to already be installed. * * If you want to install apps individually, meaning you don't have to install them on your phone first but can add them directly inside GK Xposed without a system installation, choose the Install App Via File Explorer option. You'll need to locate the APK or XAPK file in your local storage. On older versions of Android, you may first need to enable local storage access by tapping the menu icon in the top-right corner of the storage browser. * * You can also install apps or modules through the DApps browser. When you find an interesting module, tap to download it, select the item from the app list, and it will be fetched from the remote server. * ### How do I upgrade a specific app? If you added the app through local import, you don't need to upgrade it manually. It will follow the system-side version and doesn't require any extra configuration on our platform. If you want to upgrade a standalone app (one that isn't installed on your system), you can reinstall it through the file manager or download the newer version from the DApps browser. ### How do I install and use an Xposed (LSPosed or LSPatch) module? You can install Xposed modules by cloning them from your system or by installing them through a file explorer. You can also configure the DApps repository and import developer URLs, which lets you install and update Xposed modules directly from the DApps browser. The Xposed feature only works with apps that are present in GK Xposed.

GK Xposed is a straightforward app built on Mundo and MHook that lets you use Xposed modules without rooting your device, unlocking the bootloader, or flashing a custom system image. (Supports Android 5.0 to 15.0)

GK Xposed has only two restrictions:

Your system cannot be modified directly, so any module that changes system files will not work properly. Theming modules rely on Resource Hooks instead. To get started, open VirtualXposed, tap the Drawer button at the bottom of the home screen (or long-press the screen), then add the app you want and its Xposed module to VirtualXposed's virtual environment.

Note: Every step, including installing the Xposed module and the app itself,

has to be done inside GK Xposed, or the installed Xposed module will have no effect. For example, if you install YouTube on your system (your phone's original environment, not GK Xposed) and then install YouTube AdAway (a YouTube Xposed module) inside GK Xposed, it won't work. The same goes for installing YouTube inside GK Xposed while AdAway sits on the original system, or installing both on the original system. None of these three setups will work.
