Description
Xposed Installer is a framework created by XDA forum member rovo89 that lets you customize Android without flashing anything through recovery. In short, Xposed gives developers a base to build mods on, so all you need is to install Xposed to run a wide range of ROM mods.
Compatible with Android Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat, and Oreo
Xposed is a framework for modules that change how the system and apps behave, without modifying the APK file itself. This makes it highly practical, since modules can work across several Android versions and ROMs (provided the original code hasn't changed much). Because all changes happen in memory, you can simply turn off a module and restart your device to return everything to normal.
Advantages of Xposed Installer
- Xposed and its mods work on nearly any ROM, including both odexed and deodexed builds
- Install several mods at the same time (battery icon mod, menu icon mod, signal bar mod, and more)
- There's no need to boot into recovery mode to flash, disable, or remove mods if you change your mind
How to Install Xposed Installer
- Download the Xposed APK file to your device
- Open the app and tap Install
- Restart your device to finish the process. It's as simple as that
