X-Men
This is a platformer starring the X-Men. Race through levels, get past obstacles, pick up bonuses, take on Sentinels and mercenaries, and unlock new characters.
Plot and Gameplay Action
Much like the movie, the mobile game's storyline centers on a turning point for mutants, when they become the targets of a manhunt. The chain of events begins with the assassination of a US state governor, carried out by Chimera.
Following this incident, humanity views mutants as a dangerous threat and builds Sentinel robots that, under human control, are designed to confront mutants with their superpowers.
In this game, however, we take the side of the persecuted X-Men.
Gameplay Features
At its core, X-Men is a platformer. Players pick a main character and set out to complete two-dimensional levels. Constant running, dodging obstacles, collecting bonuses, and battling enemies are all part of the challenge.
Control buttons are laid out for easy movement. In the lower-left corner of the screen, the "Left" and "Right" buttons move your character backward and forward.
On the right side sits a joystick alongside an active skill button. Use them to take down enemies and smash through obstacles blocking your path.
The first hero you control is Wolverine, armed with adamantium claws and a powerful regenerative healing factor. Later, you can switch to Rosie (who can walk straight through walls) and many other characters.
