WOTH Europe takes you deep into Europe's forests, where everything moves at a relaxed pace and patience matters far more than speed. Rather than rushing around, the game asks you to track, observe, and wait for the right moment to act. You can learn more about it right here.

Introducing WOTH Europe
WOTH Europe is an open-world hunting simulation for mobile, developed and published by HandyGames. It aims for a realistic, unhurried experience that mirrors the life of a real-world hunter. Players head into sprawling, mountainous forest regions across Europe, where the landscape is wild, often misty, and rolls across hills and open grasslands. The animals living there follow their own natural rhythms.
WOTH Europe is not a fast-paced shooter where you run and fire nonstop. Instead, it rewards players who pay close attention to their surroundings, read the signs left on the ground, judge wind direction and distance, and know when to simply wait.
Different animal species behave in different ways. Some graze quietly while others move together in herds. To help you, the game offers a range of gear, including hunting rifles, binoculars, the Hunter Sense feature, and a blood trail analysis system that helps you follow a target after a shot. Both visibility and your tactics are shaped by the day and night cycle and the changing weather.
A vast open world
Rather than building maps meant for quick trips from one point to another, WOTH Europe encourages you to walk, scan the horizon, and sometimes come up with nothing at all. Broad forests, rolling hills, and fog that hides the distance make the journey feel long. There are moments when you can walk for minutes and hear nothing but the wind and birdsong. At first this emptiness felt a little dull, even sleepy, but it soon created a distinctive atmosphere.
That mood comes from the fact that the game doesn't fill every stretch with quests or events. The world carries on independently, and the animals follow their own paths without waiting for you. You may head in the wrong direction, and by the time you turn around it's already getting dark, the fog has thickened, and everything is harder to make out. You naturally start observing more carefully and moving more slowly. This rhythm of walking, pausing, and turning to look around is what makes the world of WOTH Europe feel so believable.
Unpredictable animal behavior and the hunt
Another key difference is that animals in WOTH Europe never just stand still waiting to be shot. They move in herds, follow feeding and resting routines, and react to sounds and smells. You may spot clear footprints, only to lose them after a long trek. Sometimes you finally locate a target and the entire herd bolts because the wind shifted. These letdowns happen quite often and can be frustrating at first.
Over time, though, I came to see that this unpredictability is what gives the game its depth. Reaching a spot and being sure of finding prey is no longer the norm. Every hunt feels like a calculated gamble: reading the wind, studying the terrain, and guessing where the prey will head. When you finally land a shot, the satisfaction feels very different from that of a typical shooting game.
Tracking and post-shot analysis
Hitting a target in WOTH Europe doesn't end the hunt. The animal is often wounded yet still covers a considerable distance. That's when tracking begins: you study blood trails, footprints, and the direction of movement. Sometimes the trail goes cold for a long stretch, only to reappear as a faint mark in the grass. It's a slow, deliberate process with no dramatic music, just footsteps and the sounds of the environment.
The suspense here is subtle. It isn't intense tension but a gentle anxiety: will you spot it, or will you miss it entirely? When the final target finally appears in your sights, the feeling isn't pure excitement but relief, knowing you didn't fire at random. This mechanic makes every shot feel more deliberate rather than simply pulling the trigger whenever something moves. It also encourages players to slow down and think carefully before each shot.
Weather, Day and Night
The day-night cycle in WOTH Europe is far more than decoration. At night, visibility drops considerably, and thick fog can make it hard to tell what you're looking at. Rain hides footprints more effectively, and ambient noise drowns out the sounds you need to hear. On some days the weather is so harsh that hunting is nearly impossible, leaving you to roam the land and simply observe.
This feeling is rather unusual for mobile games, since most titles aim to stay playable at all hours. Here, however, there are moments when nature seems to say that today is not the day to hunt. That creates a distinctive rhythm of play. Results don't always come, and action isn't constant. Sometimes you're simply walking through the forest, listening to the wind, and waiting for dawn.
