Description

Wings Through Time is a charming arcade game with a delightful color palette, where you take the controls of aircraft from many different eras. You'll fly everything from the very first flying machines to futuristic, ultra-fast passenger jets. Complete story missions to earn rewards and prizes, which help you unlock new routes and horizons for thrilling journeys through time and space. Easy accelerometer controls let you steer precisely, so you won't miss your goals.

Wings Through Time – A gorgeous and highly exciting flight simulator featuring a wide range of airplanes from the 1900s onward.

The game has no set storyline. Your task is simply to test out planes, beginning with the most basic 'crop duster' and gradually working your way up to modern technology. You'll begin in 1903, when aircraft couldn't reach great speeds or offer dependable construction, and finish in the present day, though getting there will take plenty of effort.

Gameplay opens with a short but helpful tutorial that teaches you how to handle takeoff, landing, and flight. The controls are simple: tilt your device in the direction you want to go, using the accelerometer. While airborne, collect time icons to gain an extra 1, 3, or 5 seconds. The farther you travel, the more aircraft you'll get to try out.

Sooner or later the clock will run out, and you'll need to land successfully before starting over from the beginning. The game impresses with its excellent hand-drawn graphics, smooth and enjoyable gameplay, a large selection of flying vehicles, and no paid features at all.
