An overview of what Wifi Jumper can do:
– Scans automatically and connects to the strongest available network (scan interval is configurable) – Unknown but open networks can be included (configurable) – Status icon shown in the status bar – Automatic start after a device restart (configurable) – You can set up WiFi zones that fully turn off the device's WiFi module when you leave the respective zone. WiFi zones can be viewed on a map. – Lightweight operation with everything important visible at a glance – Multilingual (German, English)
Known Limitations: – Starting with Android 8 (Oreo), Wifi Jumper must run as a foreground service, otherwise it will be stopped after a few minutes by the power-saving feature. – No support for custom ROMs!!!

Wifi Jumper automatically connects your device to the strongest available and known WiFi network. On request, even unknown but unsecured (open) networks are supported automatically.
In addition, control of the WiFi functionality can be automated based on local radio cells (cell towers). Outside such a defined WiFi zone, the WiFi module is automatically turned off, and inside it, it is turned on. This can help reduce your device's power consumption and extend battery life.
Additional radio cells in an area are added automatically as long as WiFi remains connected, so there is no need to maintain WiFi zones manually.
The following permissions are required (why?):
