This game is built for both solo play and multiplayer matches.
Story and Action
The action unfolds on a scenic island. Its stunning landscapes are spoiled by one problem: the place is swarming with terrorists. The developers let players choose a side behind the barricades, either playing as special forces or joining the terrorists. The American soldiers' missions are fairly straightforward, while the terrorists' motives are harder to make sense of.
The main character is a soldier named Edward Page. He served the United States loyally for many years, but eventually grew disillusioned with his country and defected to the terrorist side.
Gameplay Features
The single-player campaign comes with four difficulty levels, though you'll need to unlock the hardest one. The game opens with special forces landing on an island ravaged by war. Once the intro cutscene ends, you're thrown straight into the fighting.
Every level includes checkpoints that save your progress automatically. If you lose your way or aren't sure what to do next, waypoints help you get your bearings, so you won't have to retrace the same ground over and over to find the final objective. In combat, you can take cover behind obstacles and even jump over them.
