Description
MOD Spire, Surge, and Sea
The story takes place in Gigantea, a mysterious haven in the middle of the ocean, ringed by magical walls and tales of divine might. Here, authority is built on deception and control over memory, and your main character must either submit to this order or stand against it.
Gameplay
At its heart, the game is about constant decision-making, and there is rarely a single right answer. You can back the king, reinforcing his rule and keeping the illusion of stability alive, or side with the rebels who dream of tearing the established order down.
A third path is open too: turning to the spirits, whose magic unveils new opportunities and dangerous knowledge. The city is full of contradictions. The majestic towers of the Spire stand for progress and power, while beneath them, in the outskirts and dungeons, dark secrets from the past lie hidden.
Much of the gameplay centers on interacting with a diverse society. Your character can form relationships, romantic or friendly, choose how to communicate, whether verbally or through sign language, and carve out a place for themselves within the community.
The wide range of story branches means every playthrough feels different. You decide whether to become a warrior, an alchemist, an explorer, or a mystic who blends science with the supernatural.
Game Features
Mutated creatures roam the underground corridors of the Shallows, and they can become either enemies or beings in need of help. The choice to fight them or try to heal them always belongs to the player. The archives of Gigantea hold dangerous secrets that could overturn accepted views of the past.
The ocean surrounding the city also calls to you with its unknowns, since no one knows what lies beyond its turbulent waters. You can take the risk and set out on a journey to discover whether Gigantea is truly humanity's last bastion, or whether another world waits beyond the horizon.
