Gameplay Features
Space Rangers is a fully interactive text adventure. At the very start, you'll be dispatched to recruit fresh talent for your crew.
Along the way, you'll need to seek out allies across various galaxies. To do so, you'll pick the type of ship you want to pilot, choosing between a warrior, a pirate, or a merchant vessel.
The game lets you explore many different star systems, each with its own set of missions to complete. Wandering through space stations is an incredibly thrilling pastime.
Unexpected situations also crop up regularly, forcing you to make quick, decisive choices. For instance, an unidentified blip on your radar could turn out to be a pirate ambush.
Design
The graphics are impressively crafted and still hold up well by modern standards. The ship flight animations look remarkably lifelike.
The voice acting deserves a special mention as well. The game delights players with a huge selection of stunning soundtracks, and you can switch between them at any time. If you prefer, you can also load your own music into the game.
