Hacked Asphalt: Overdrive
Asphalt: Chase is an arcade car runner packed with dynamic video clips. Players swipe across the screen at the right moments to weave past obstacles in the form of other road users.
First Launch
As usual, players are offered the chance to buy their very first car right at the start. The starting budget is fairly modest, and the selection is already limited to the cars available at the opening level.
When picking a car, look beyond its looks as well, since its power plays a big role in how well you perform in races.
Gameplay
Once you've chosen your car, you're straight onto the city streets, where you can boldly overtake other traffic, build up speed quickly, pull off mid-air stunts, collect points, complete missions and earn in-game currency.
That currency can be spent in the in-game store on technical and visual car upgrades, as well as on brand-new sports cars.
Escaping the police deserves special attention. Racing at speeds of 200 kilometers per hour is bound to draw the attention of law enforcement. Shaking off the cops takes skill, but the payoff is worthwhile, as it can earn you a sizable amount of in-game currency.
Although it's not a direct continuation of the Asphalt series, this spin-off will appeal to fans of both runners and racing games alike!
