Description
Dead Zed is a dynamic military-tactical action game from developer Not Doppler. It features a cartoon art style, realistic physics and experimental gameplay that blends Tower Defense with first-person shooting. The story is set in the near future, where humanity has been hit by an unknown virus that rapidly alters DNA and mutates cells.
At first, Earth's scientists managed to keep the outbreak under control, but over time the situation spiraled out of hand. Thousands of revived dead flooded parks and megacities, turning once-thriving cities into lifeless wastelands…
Difficulty, Content and Updates
In terms of gameplay, Dead Zed combines Tower Defense elements with a classic shooter. There are no towers here. Instead, defense falls entirely on the main character, who fires at the advancing hordes of the dead. Shooting accuracy, ammo management (ammunition is always in short supply) and the order of your attacks all matter a great deal.
This means you can't win by accident by mashing every button on the screen, even if you try. The game will repeatedly show Game Over screens and send you back to restart the level, which requires even more effort. For example, you'll need to aim for the head (or at least the legs!), keep upgrading your gear and collect power-ups…
How to install
