Content and New Features
VK iMod includes options you won't typically find in a social network. For example, the mobile client can search for a lookalike by photo on request for free (even without signing up first), grant a blue checkmark and other privileges, and set up several copies of the social network for business or everyday use. All of this runs more smoothly than in the standard VK version, and you don't need an emulator to use it.
The developers' approach takes some getting used to. Several useful features from the official client, such as tools for collecting statistics and checking device performance, are buried deep in the settings menu, so you may find yourself searching through menus more than you'd like.
That said, the customization makes up for it. With the included themes, you can build your own menu layout (with the same photos and videos), add extra icons similar to those in Kate Mobile, and even redesign your personal page or the main news feed without restrictions. The one drawback is storage: because of bugs in some updates, unneeded files can be tricky to remove, so keep an eye on your free space.
