About Viki

Viki is an app focused on TV shows and movies produced in Asia. It aims to bring its users the newest and most up-to-date shows and movies. The titles on Viki attract a wide and passionate audience. Asian productions often carry strong emotional and spiritual themes, so many of them blend genres and tell stories centered on matters of the heart and spirit. Some of the most popular picks on Viki are romantic dramas. Beyond movies, the app also offers a large selection of Korean and Japanese drama series. Both Korea and Japan have vibrant, distinctive TV industries that weave together a wide range of elements and genres, and many shows on the app feature intricate storylines and deep character arcs.

The app uses advanced technology to offer a translation feature that converts content to and from 150 different languages.

Language barriers can make it hard for people to enjoy international media, especially foreign films and shows, where dialogue is the main way a story is told. To remove those barriers and keep viewing seamless, translating dialogue is essential. With this feature, viewers around the world can watch their favorite content in the language they prefer, and many users value it most of all. Translation also helps people pick up new languages: by watching, they gradually learn the basics of a language. As a result, viewers not only enjoy the content but also learn new languages, while expanding their understanding of different cultures.

The app includes a built-in fan community where users can post comments, pictures, GIFs, and videos about their favorite actors and movies. You can share movie reviews and experiences or simply express how you feel about your favorite stars. Fans can also browse reviews and comment on them to share their own experiences with a particular movie or show. The community makes it easier to find reviews and content that help you understand the shows and movies you care about. It gives users a space to engage with one another, exchange reviews, and share content about the actors they admire. Breaking news and updates about favorite stars can be posted there too. The community is designed to help build a strong, positive fan base, offering a more social, fun, and engaging experience.

Easily sending movies and TV shows to multiple devices is one of the app’s biggest strengths. You can stream the same show or movie on several devices, such as a phone and a television. Switching the stream to another device is designed to be quick and simple, so you can pick up where you left off. The app offers a broad library of TV shows and movies, and Live TV is available as well. Like other streaming services, it lets you connect with users around the world. Users are also grouped by shared interests, so you can chat with others, give live commentary and reviews, and show appreciation for your favorite actors and actresses.

This app delivers an enjoyable viewing experience through a polished, intuitive interface. Users can easily find and make use of the various tools available to suit their entertainment preferences. The developers clearly understand their audience's tastes and put playback quality first, so users feel they are getting real value. The emphasis on HD and 3D video and high-quality sound creates a cinema-style feel that keeps viewers more engaged. Whether watching on a phone or a large display, users can enjoy sharp visuals and stay immersed in what they're watching. The app offers a large library of films, music videos, and TV shows from across Asia. Its developers focus on creating an engaging experience and bring in a range of tools that boost the overall entertainment value.

Beyond movies and series, the app also offers audio and a wide variety of media from different Asian countries. The team recognizes the importance of keeping content fresh and up to date, and a large catalog helps make that possible. Rather than looking beyond Asia, the app is dedicated to that region, giving users a window into its rich culture and artistic talent. In particular, the service is built to satisfy growing interest in Asian media. It offers a convenient, easy-to-use experience that lets viewers quickly reach entertaining, high-quality content and find the titles they love. As the Asian media industry continues to gain popularity, the service is designed to keep pace with that demand, providing a safe and legal way for users to enjoy it.
