Game Plot

The hero of Undertale is a little girl who unexpectedly falls into an underground world. It is home to all kinds of monsters who were sealed away here after a failed war with humans.

Our protagonist must face many challenges, make bold decisions, and disarm countless clever traps. In the end, she has to make a weighty choice: destroy the monsters once and for all, or grant them life and freedom.

Gameplay

Undertale is an adventure game with a number of unique features that set it apart from others in the genre. Here you can solve puzzles, but you can also choose whether to talk to or fight the monsters. The decisions you make during play will shape which ending you get.

If you choose to talk to a monster, you will need to resolve its problem. This way you can avoid bloodshed and turn a potential enemy into a genuine friend.

If you choose to fight a monster, you will get to experience the game's distinctive combat system.

Everything in Undertale takes place inside a dungeon with narrow corridors and rooms, where you must solve puzzles to obtain useful items or discover a hidden passage.

You will often find signs with hints on the dungeon walls. We strongly suggest keeping an eye on them, since they frequently contain valuable clues on how to finish the game.
