Since its release, the simulation of running a Chinese restaurant in My Hot Pot Story has drawn plenty of attention and a loyal fan base. You play as the owner of a hot pot restaurant and must keep your business running by following a set of cooking secrets.

Complete Quests to Earn Bigger Rewards

Your goal is to open a hot pot restaurant, recruit and manage your staff, and grow the business until you can serve a wide variety of dishes. The job includes creating different hot pot recipes, planning daily purchases, greeting guests, hiring and overseeing kitchen and service workers, decorating the restaurant, and eventually opening several locations. Each quest you fill comes with a generous cash reward that fuels the store's rapid expansion. Working through these tasks is the best way to learn the basics of My Hot Pot Story.

Hire Employees to Earn Passive Income

In My Hot Pot Story, you can choose from five restaurant roles, including waitress, cashier, bartender, chef, and receptionist. The fastest way to automate your restaurant's operations is to invest in and hire these five staff members. Your team can keep the business running and generating revenue even while you're away. Washing dishes is finished by the time you log back into the game. In this game, only the boss does the dishwashing, not any of the employees.

Upgrading Your Hot Pot Shop

Staying successful in the restaurant business takes constant upkeep and growth. Spend money on new dining room sets and furniture to refresh your existing seating areas. A well-decorated exterior keeps guests willing to wait in line for longer. Decorating the lobby draws in customers, encourages them to dine in, and boosts your earnings. Upgrading your kitchen can save both time and money. Renovating the VIP area, remodeling the theater, and expanding the buffet all add seating and bring in more guests.

Check the Lucky Cat Regularly

The "Lucky Cat" gradually builds up a stash of ingredients for your cooking projects. Once you've seated enough tables, it can also hand over ingredients for recipes, which you can use to unlock new cooking techniques. It additionally drops valuable items at random. So after seating enough tables, check the Lucky Cat whenever you hear a "Meow." To keep customers returning, try out new recipes and add tempting dishes to your menu. After collecting materials from the lucky cat statue, use the built-in smart feature in the game.

Before placing orders, focus on improving the highest-starred dishes on your restaurant's menu. Players also need a variety of creative hot pot ideas to earn money quickly. At level 6, you'll collect all five flavors (sour, sweet, bitter, spicy, and salty) through mini-games built around each taste, which let you create new hot pot sauce varieties. The mini-game is easy to learn and play: your goal is to match the flavors as accurately as you can until the level 6 flavor unlocks. Each fruit produces a distinct flavor.
