Description
The Secret of the House is an experimental adventure game from the studio Discreen Vision Games. It features non-linear storytelling, cartoon-style visuals, and a relaxed yet intriguing pace. The developers set the story in a fictional world that, stylistically, recalls Disney cartoons such as Anastasia, Cinderella, or Snow White. That resemblance is a surprising contrast, since adult content awaits the main character along the way (in fact, at nearly every step), and it completely shifts the direction of the plot.
Atmosphere, Events and Updates
The world of The Secret of the House follows the usual conventions of the visual novel genre, but the developers have no rush to simply copy their rivals. Instead, they aim to give players real freedom: every choice shapes the story, and at any moment you can easily jump to the global map to pick your next action. Alongside this comes the point-and-click exploration typical of the genre, including visiting locations, gathering items, and even building up the main character.
The core gameplay stays the same as time goes on, but it grows deeper. First, erotic scenes will unlock, including interactive ones, and you'll need to pick the right dialogue options and collect the right items to reach them. Second, new areas will open up, full of unexpected discoveries that reward you for searching around more often…
