BUILD A SETTLEMENT ON EMPTY GROUND!

Start by erecting the bare minimum of facilities on open terrain, then keep adding new ones as you see fit. Colonists, including workers and other personnel, arrive from Earth together with supplies. Challenges and events pop up now and then, so make sure you handle them wisely.

EXPLORE BEYOND THE SETTLEMENT AND MINE RESOURCES!

The world beyond your base is far vaster. Send out a survey team with a rover to scout the terrain. Dispatch rovers from the settlement to investigate and mine for resources. In the early stages, your small stock of equipment and personnel will barely keep you afloat, but as you add more rovers and rockets, you'll be able to juggle many tasks at once.

DEEPLY STRATEGIC FACILITY PLACEMENT AND REFINED LEVEL DESIGN!

Work out the angles and positions that let you link corridors effectively. Every facility has its own shape, size and corridor connection points, and each one only works once it's linked to other facilities and passages. Facilities can be rotated a full 360 degrees, so organizing your space is a satisfying, puzzle-like challenge. You also need to assign enough personnel to every facility, which adds plenty of strategy.
