This mobile role-playing game captures the feel of a pen-and-paper RPG more closely than most. Instead of simply reading through walls of text, you face thousands of decisions that reshape the story, and every single choice carries consequences. You take on the role of Lord Elric, a disgraced nobleman falsely blamed for the murder of his family. To either seek revenge or earn redemption, Elric must gather his allies, lead a band of warriors and anti-heroes, and topple an empire, all while assassins hunt him at every turn.
Tales of Illyria blends journey management with choose-your-own-adventure gameplay in a hybrid RPG. Every party member has a distinct personality and reacts in their own way when they fall ill, run low on supplies, or when your decisions clash with their alignment. Will you feed the hungry troll or attempt to chase it off? Would you raid a caravan to get your hands on much-needed gold? Which cure will you offer a man suffering from the Black Death?
This is the first installment of the series, Tales of Illyria: Fallen Knight. Each episode works as a standalone role-playing adventure.
