Description
Storm Boy is based on Colin Thiele's 1966 children's novel of the same title. The story unfolds along the beaches of South Australia, close to the Murray River, where the young hero sets out to rescue a few orphaned pelican chicks. Before long, one of the chicks becomes the boy's beloved pet and his most faithful companion.
