Your first step is to craft a character to your own liking. A range of character classes is available, and once you've made your choice, simple on-screen text guides you into the opening of Star Wars: KOTOR. When you wake up, a character named Trask approaches and fills you in on what's happening around the island. Right after that, he explains a few key elements to get you started.

In this game, you can interact with specific objects, and signs will show you which ones are interactive. The first thing you can use is a box holding equipment and weapons. From there, you choose a weapon that suits your style, either melee or ranged.
