Description
Star Diffusion is a top-down horror shooter in which you search for the protagonist's missing daughter. Its developers argue that scares don't have to come from a first-person view: action horror with a top-down camera and isometric horror can be just as frightening, and that is the idea behind the "star diffusion" concept. The story unfolds on an artificial planet called "Hepo." Sergeant Reynold has just returned home from a perilous intergalactic mission, only to find the planet's population gone, replaced by terrifying, unfamiliar creatures. The sensible choice would be to leave this dangerous world behind, but Reynold has no option except to stay and find his daughter. Star Diffusion blends science fiction and horror in a compelling way. Much of its gloomy mood comes from the flashlight, which lights up only small areas around you. Fortunately, you carry a gun to deal with the sinister creatures, because they are everywhere.
