The machine was already broken, and at the exact moment of his hit it activated, tearing open a hole that pulled every other character into another dimension. Now, with Sandy Cheeks’ ingenuity, the Bikini Bottom crew must collect energy to find their way home.

You'll explore a place that resembles Bikini Bottom, though it's a parallel dimension, so the trip home will be a long one. Each area is built around familiar locations from the show, and new buildings are introduced for you to put to good use. These buildings work together, and their combined output produces the energy needed to get everyone back home.

GENERATE ELECTRIC POWER TO GO HOME

When you begin SpongeBob’s Idle Adventures, you'll be prompted to unlock an area called Krusty Stache, where supplies are produced and sent to other locations such as Treedom and the generators. You'll keep this cycle running by clicking the circles that appear across different areas, and they must be tapped in a set order. In short, supplies made at Krusty Stache move to Treedom, and eventually the finished products feed the energy generator.

This energy is key to getting the characters home, since it powers the missions you must complete across each dimension. A purple energy line appears and, over time, gets divided among the tasks you need to handle. Finishing every quest unlocks the teleport button, and energy is the main resource that makes this possible.
