SpongeBob SquarePants BfBB sends you back to Bottom Bikini, where you reunite with familiar faces and battle against robots that have gone rogue. Along the way you'll brave hazardous zones, gather essential items and take on powerful bosses.
SpongeBob SquarePants BfBB is a platformer that drops you into Bottom Bikini to face robots that have slipped out of their creators' control. Each area holds different items you need to find, and the dangers you encounter, from treacherous terrain to fearsome bosses, test your skills at every turn.
THE RISE OF RUNAWAY ROBOTS
The story unfolds in Bottom Bikini, where you'll cross paths with characters like SpongeBob and Patrick in SpongeBob SquarePants BfBB. Plankton, scheming as always, has built a machine to steal the Krabby Patty formula. When he powered it up, it produced robot clones almost immediately, but the plan quickly unraveled as the robots turned on him and surrounded him.
The robots rebelled, and the first one they set their sights on was their own creator. Plankton had carelessly programmed them with a Don't Obey command, and that single mistake set off the chaos. The trouble soon spread to SpongeBob and Patrick. When SpongeBob wakes up to find his room in disarray and strange writing left behind, he sets out to uncover the mystery.
JOURNEY THROUGH THE PUZZLES OF EACH AREA
You'll control SpongeBob as he begins unraveling what is happening in this world. Collect items as you go, especially the colorful pickups scattered before you. Simply touch them to grab them, then keep exploring the streets and corners of Bottom Bikini. You'll also come across guide signs along the way.
At certain locations you'll spot signs marked with question marks, which offer hints to help you learn the ropes. You'll also find objects you can smash, and they'll reward you with Shiny Objects, the currency used throughout the game. Other key items, such as the Golden Spatulas, unlock entirely new areas.
As you explore, you'll discover a vast world full of items to collect, so expect to spend plenty of time searching. Not every spot is safe, though, since spikes and lava can slow your progress. You'll also need to trigger a few mechanisms within each level to keep your exploration moving forward.
FACE THE FEARSOME BOSSES
The robots have begun spreading havoc across the areas of SpongeBob SquarePants BfBB, and you'll have to confront them head-on. Learn each boss's movement patterns so you can dodge and strike back effectively until their health bars run out.
Why players keep coming back to SpongeBob and his friends' adventure:
- You'll revisit the familiar streets of Bottom Bikini and explore them with SpongeBob, the default character.
- The robots of Don't Obey have already begun wreaking havoc in the area, and it's up to you to put a stop to their destructive spree.
