Strange alien bugs and insects have seized most of the planets, wiped out all life there, and are busy mining the valuable resources beneath the surface. Your first stop is a space station, where your character is equipped with sturdy armor, a powerful weapon, and a loyal drone companion. From there, you can hop from planet to planet and begin wiping out the bugs.

Your hero starts with an assault rifle, an automatic turret that can be placed anywhere on the map, and a few grenades and medkits. You're free to roam each planet, hunt down enemies, and complete missions. These come in several varieties: sometimes you must clear an area of bugs, other times you'll need to gather valuable resources, repair various structures, or take down massive bosses.

As you advance, you'll unlock new skills, weapons, and exciting locations, along with even tougher enemies to face, which is a real pleasure. The game also offers several modes, including a classic campaign and multiplayer, where you and a friend can team up to destroy the alien bugs together.
