Smash Tactics is a pixel-art action game built on a straightforward ruleset that encourages players to plan and prioritize their moves ahead of each battle. Four unit types are at your disposal, along with a slingshot mechanic, so you'll need to factor in ricochets as well. The goal is to inflict maximum damage while steering clear of unfavorable positions. Its deceptively simple gameplay really opens up once you've practiced a little and step onto the open battlefield after the tutorial.
