Worried that someone might spot your PIN or pattern while you unlock your phone? Smart Phone Lock is the answer. It uses the current phone time as your unlock PIN and changes it automatically every minute. Each time you unlock the device, the PIN is different, so prying eyes around you won't get far. Best of all, there's nothing you need to memorize. For extra security, the modifiers take things further. Modifiers: 1) Offset PIN: Set a positive or negative number, which is then added to or subtracted from the current time. For example, if the time is 03:30 and the offset is +10, the unlock code becomes 0340. 2) Reverse PIN: When enabled, the PIN becomes the reverse of the current time. For example, if the time is 03:50, the PIN to unlock the lock screen is 0530. Smart Phone Lock also offers a Date PIN as an alternative method. With Date PIN enabled, your unlock PIN changes according to your phone's date. FAIL SAFE: Forgot your PIN? No problem. At any time, you can use the default PIN you set during installation as a backup code to unlock your phone. If you also forget the default PIN, after three incorrect attempts you can request it via SMS sent to your registered phone number. You can also hide the Smart Phone Lock app icon from the app list by choosing the hide icon option in Settings. Once hidden, it's hard to tell you're using Smart Phone Lock. To launch the app, dial 1234 on your phone.
The app includes several options: 1. Swipe to unlock: Optionally enable a swipe-to-unlock screen in the app settings. 2. Widget support: Optionally add any widget to the swipe screen, so you can control your music player, check the weather, or view statistics. 3. Unlocker protection: Once enabled, if anyone enters the wrong password to unlock your phone, the app silently takes a photo with the front camera (if available) and notifies you after the device is unlocked. 4. Lock screen background: Choose any background image you like for the lock screen. 5. Battery saving mode: The app is designed to use very little battery. For even longer battery life, enable battery saving mode in the app settings.
The app is password protected, so you can only access it after entering the default PIN you set during installation.
