Description
Broken Sword 5: Episode 2
Continuing the adventure in which you help the main characters track down an ancient artifact, this sequel challenges you with a range of clever riddles and puzzles to crack along the way.
Gameplay
Following the storyline, your main character, American George Stobbart, and his companion Nico Collard finally reach the Castle of the Saints in Catalonia after a brief flight followed by a long drive.
Earlier, back in London, the pair stumbled upon "La Maledicció" and started digging into its hidden secrets.
The painting concealed a map pointing to the Tabula Veritatis, an ancient artifact said to be capable of summoning the Devil. Several people have already lost their lives chasing it, so your task is to reach this tablet before anyone else.
Your heroes are aware that they're not alone in the hunt; the villains are somewhere close by too. As soon as they arrive at the castle, gunfire erupts. To press on, you'll need to draw the shooter's attention away.
To do so, pick up a helmet from the grass near the castle gates, combine it with a broom, and then mount it on the wall to lure the shooter away.
The opening tasks are fairly straightforward, but they grow more demanding as you advance, so the game keeps you engaged throughout.
Game Features
Expect vivid graphics, simple and intuitive controls, and a gripping storyline. This time, you must decode the painting to be the first to uncover the ancient Tabula Veritatis.
Along the way you'll tackle a wide variety of engaging quests and solve plenty of puzzles. If a challenging quest stumps you, you can make use of helpful hints.
