The core objective is to cover as much ground as possible. You get plenty of attempts, so don't worry if you fail the first time. Your character runs down the street with a marked zone ahead; when enemies step into that area, tap the screen to strike. Miss, and you lose a life and must wait a couple of seconds before striking again. Keep running and slashing through everything in your path, and try your hardest to avoid mistakes.

Every run earns in-game currency that you can spend on upgrades such as attack range, faster cooldown for follow-up strikes, and extra lives. You can also buy new weapons in the shop, including bats, axes, and sledgehammers alongside swords.
