Description
Shaman King: Chinese developers have launched a beta test of Shaman King, a mobile game inspired by the anime. Unlike Shaman King Mobile, its gameplay is built around automatic battles in a wall-to-wall format. Players simply need to position their characters in advance and then power them up. New heroes can be obtained through the gacha system, and the developers are handing out free spins.
The game is split into missions, and you can earn up to 3 stars in each one. Heroes are sorted by rarity and element level, and pairing the right ones together gives you a better chance of winning. Besides PvE content, Shaman King also features player-versus-player battles in the Arena, likely in an asynchronous format.
Since this is a test, all progress will be wiped once the servers are shut down. Players have praised the anime-inspired art style and the inclusion of characters from the anime "Shaman King", which takes many fans right back to their childhood.
