USE ENERGY AND SUMMON SPIRITS

In Shaman Defense, an energy bar and spirit cards appear on screen, letting you summon your allies. Each card shows its details, including the spirit's class and the energy required to bring it into battle. Watch your defenses hold firm as powerful entities protect the Shaman, and make smart adjustments so no monster gets through.

One interesting aspect of calling on spirits is that they identify enemies once they are in range. The spot where you place a spirit is not fixed, and you can move it as the situation changes. Small squares appear when you tap the environment, and you can drag a spirit from one square to another. This flexibility opens the door to many creative and effective tactics.

Like other tower defense games, you can deploy spirits of several different classes, and each class determines where it can be placed. Offensive spirits should be positioned on squares close to the path of the evil forces. Defensive spirits hold back enemies for a set period, while healers support their allies by restoring their health.

UNLOCK SPIRITS AND UPGRADE THEIR POWERS

Like any tower defense title, Shaman Defense includes an upgrade system that lets you strengthen your units. You can choose which spirits to improve, and each upgrade stays in effect only up to a certain level. For a lasting boost, you will need to collect fragments for each spirit.

As you play, you collect fragments for each spirit card. Once you gather enough, you unlock a new power and improve the base stats shown at the bottom of the card.
