The story of the first game, "The First Encounter" (its official Russian title is "Первая кровь", meaning "First Blood"), centers on the discovery of an artifact left by a powerful civilization from the planet Sirius, buried beneath the sands of Egypt. Using it, humanity made rapid scientific advances and began expanding across the Galaxy, only to soon clash with a merciless alien race led by their leader Mental, who destroy everything in their path.

Years later, scientists uncover an ancient artifact known as the "Key to Eternity," capable of sending a single person into the distant past to face the invaders. That person turns out to be Samuel Stone.
