Scan My Tesla reads data from the diagnostics port of your Tesla Model S, 3, and X, then presents it as charts or logs for deeper analysis.
Model Y is now supported! For the time being, just select Model 3 in the app.
The app gives you a wide range of live statistics, including:
– Battery power, voltage, current, and temperatures
– Drive Unit electric power, torque, horsepower*, RPM, and temperatures
Estimates of battery lifespan and range in miles
– 12V system current, voltage, and temperature
– Trip tracking and statistics, including regenerated or charged energy
* Not currently available for Model 3
You'll need an ELM327-compatible OBD2 Bluetooth adapter and an OBD2-to-Tesla diagnostic cable. Depending on the model year, there are two plug types.
Highly recommended: OBDLink MX Bluetooth, or any other high-quality STN1100-based adapter that supports the ST command set.
BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and Wi-Fi adapters are not currently supported.
