The game lets you create your own character by customizing their appearance and choosing a set of skills and abilities. Powerful ultimate abilities are also available and can be unleashed in battle once you've built up enough energy. Combat is turn-based: you attack first, then your opponent, and whoever lands critical damage first wins. Defeated enemies may drop gold, silver, valuable artifacts, weapons, and clothing. These items can be used or sold at the local tavern for an extra reward.

You control your character with a joystick that moves them across pixelated locations, while buttons that appear during certain events handle actions. In battle, simply pick a target and then select the skill to use against your opponent.
