Rogue Legacy is a demanding action platformer with roguelike elements, where every death opens the door to a fresh start. Venture through a castle that reshapes itself on every run, dodging deadly traps, facing bizarre creatures, and taking on powerful bosses while you search for its hidden secrets and the evil that dwells within. What sets the game apart is its “genealogical” system: when your hero dies, their child picks up the quest, inheriting traits, abilities, and occasionally odd conditions that can completely change how you play. One heir might be colorblind, another might struggle with vertigo, while others could be exceptionally strong or unusually small, so no two runs ever feel quite the same.
