Features
Strategy games in the Revival series stand apart from many rivals thanks to their gameplay depth. Yes, you will still need to build your empire, mine resources, and fight rival powers. But you can also step beyond swords and cannons into diplomacy, where cunning, foresight, and sharp strategic thinking can strengthen your position on the battlefield.
Few other games demand such a thoughtful approach, where you have to put your brainpower to work in order to come out on top. Still, when negotiations break down, you can always fall back on the tried-and-true method of settling disputes by force.
Innovations
The developers last updated the multiplayer mode, and new additions to the campaign are quite likely to follow. As a reminder, players can now face up to 6 opponents on the map at the same time.
Players can choose from 25 types of weapons and build and upgrade 25 kinds of combat units. Resource demands have also grown, so players must find ways to meet them. Naval and land battles have been reworked as well.
