The gameplay follows a classic format. Your character can move left and right, attack, jump, and use one of four available skills. Each level is split into several sections, and every section contains a set number of opponents to defeat. Defeated enemies drop coins, which your character collects automatically simply by passing over them. The further you progress, the tougher and more rewarding the challenges become.

Between stages, you can return to the main menu to sharpen your skills and unlock new abilities, upgrade your weapons, swap your armor, or even recruit another hero. Each one is unique and adds variety to how you play.
