Storyline and gameplay

After the events of Resident Evil: Biohazard 7, Ethan Winters received a massive shock when he stepped inside the Baker family home. Still, he escaped alive and crossed paths with Chris Redfield. Things started looking up for him: his daughter Rose was born, and he had a devoted wife, Mia.

One fateful day, however, Chris Redfield broke into his home, murdered Mia, and kidnapped Rose. Ethan was knocked out, and soon after, his convoy came under attack from a powerful creature. That is where the gameplay kicks in. This horror game drops you into a small village, from which other locations are visible: Castle Dimitrescu, House Beneviento, and Heisenberg's Factory. You'll need to explore all of these places in your search for your daughter.

This continuation of the legendary series has proven to be a hit. It blends action survival with genuine horror, and every bullet matters. There's no reason to rush, since the new installment can become very tough if you waste your ammunition. The game offers plot twists, a huge arsenal of cool weapons in various calibers, and much more.
