Renamer Pro is a handy tool that lets you batch rename any files located on your internal or external memory in just one go. This serves as the upgraded edition of the popular Bulk Rename application.

Batch rename your files in three simple steps: 1. Choose Input Files. Pick the items you wish to modify using the built-in file explorer. 2. Set Up the Rename Rules. Build your personalized configurations using the available options. 3. Preview and Execute. Check out how the new filenames will look before starting the process.

Rename Configuration

Setting up your custom renaming rule involves two main stages.

1. Select name format.

You have access to numerous components to construct your fresh filename structure. These elements are fully adjustable and can be arranged however you like.

✓ Original Name – Keeps the initial title as the foundation for your setup. ✓ Parent Name – Inserts the folder name where the file resides. ✓ Indexing – Applies an auto-updating number sequence with settings for start values, steps, and zero padding. ✓ Text – Inserts custom text strings. ✓ Date & Time – Appends the last modified timestamp using a customizable format. ✓ EXIF Data – Pulls photo metadata and incorporates it into the filename. ✓ Audio Metadata – Extracts sound track tags to include in the title. ✓ Random Text – Generates random characters based on your chosen length and character types.

2. Apply modifiers (optional).

Once your basic structure is ready, you can optionally apply various modifiers.

✓ Change Case – Switch text to lower, upper, sentence, or camel case. ✓ Change Extension – Modify or completely strip file extensions. ✓ Add character at position – Insert specific characters or words at a defined spot. ✓ Trim whitespaces – Clean up extra spaces from the beginning, end, or everywhere. ✓ Remove character(s) – Delete specific words or letters. ✓ Remove multiple characters – Strip out several items separated by commas. ✓ Remove characters by type – Filter out letters, numbers, or non-alphanumeric symbols. ✓ Remove characters at position – Delete a specific count of characters at a chosen spot. ✓ Remove characters by regex – Clean up names using regular expressions. ✓ Replace characters – Swap out target words with your preferred text. ✓ Replace characters by regex – Substitute text patterns via regular expressions.
