Description
Annoying Sound
This app can play a very unpleasant, grating sound across a wide range of frequencies.
Features
The app is fairly simple: it generates tones at different oscillation frequencies, from 200 to 20,000 Hz.
Users can pick from preset annoying sounds, ranging from 13,000 Hz to 18,000 Hz, or enter their own numerical values.
A button placed just below the middle of the display turns the signal on or off. Once started, the frequency generator keeps producing sound within the chosen range. The noise is irritating not only to people but also to animals.
If you like, you can set the frequency manually to make the noise as bothersome as possible. Higher values produce a rather shrill tone, while lower frequencies create a humming sound. The app includes a large selection of some of the most annoying sounds and soundtracks known to people.
Some are included purely for fun, while others have been scientifically shown to be among the most irritating sounds for humans. Any noise can be easily set as a ringtone, message tone, or alarm, so you'll never miss an important call. Such an alarm will almost certainly get you out of bed. The app needs no setup, so you won't have to spend time adjusting settings or learning how it works.
