Setup is simple. In the server configuration menu, enter the password, the server address, and the port number for each power switch. Use a server address such as Myserver.myhouse.com or 192.168.1.2 instead of including http.

Next, turn each security option on or off for the power strip. If the protected checkbox is enabled, any output whose name is in brackets (for example, FTP server) will be disabled. Outputs with names in brackets (FTP server) cannot be switched.

To set a password, open the settings menu, tick the password requirement box, and enter your password. The default password is Administrator.

Once an output is configured, its name and status (on or off) will be displayed. To toggle an output, press and hold it. To move between other outputs, swipe left or right. If your switch supports it, long press an output to power cycle it.

Schedules can be set up so outputs turn on or off automatically, provided your switch supports this feature.
