Planet Finder + is an advanced Augmented Reality camera that helps you spot planets, stars, constellations and galaxies. It also works as a sophisticated astronomy compass, giving you quick orientation to the objects visible in your night sky. Extremely easy! Simply launch the app to get an instant overview of the planets around you. You are at the center of the screen, on Earth, with the planets shown all around you. If a planet is above the compass ring and highlighted, it is visible. If it sits below the compass ring, toward the center of the Earth, it is hidden and below your horizon. The same rule applies to every other celestial type. Fire up your starcraft engines and zip across the universe.

Planet Finder + includes an advanced Augmented Reality camera. Just point your phone at the sky and Planet Finder + will switch to Augmented Reality mode instantly. Spot planets, stars and constellations through your phone's camera, take a snapshot and share it via Facebook, email, Twitter or MMS!

Interact with the Augmented Reality view by turning on its player. Play, pause, rewind and fast-forward the Solar System. This will draw the orbital paths of the planets and of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn.

You can also track planets, stars, constellations and galaxies. Just follow the direction of the arrows and you'll locate your target in seconds!

Lower your phone to switch back to the 2D compass or text view. For more detailed information, tap a celestial object in the text list.

Tap the 3D Planet icon for a detailed 3D view of a planet's or moon's surface texture, and check the real-time positions of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn.

Tap the RTS icon to see the rise, transit and set times of the planets, or tap the 3D Sun icon to get the current sunspot count. Open the Wiki icon to access the latest static information.
