To clear each area, you'll need to sprint across sprawling levels, take down enemies, and collect points to pick one of three bonuses. Options include fireballs, enemy slowdown, lightning strikes, and sharp blades that follow set paths, among many others. Every bonus can be acquired and upgraded several times, boosting your odds of survival.

At the end of every area, you'll face a boss with far more health. Get caught by it and you can instantly lose a third of your armor. Between dungeons, you can spend gold on upgrades and unlock new characters, each with their own look and core attributes.
