Piano Tiles is a wildly entertaining and hard-to-put-down game that makes for great downtime. Beyond sharpening your reflexes, it also gives you a chance to enjoy classical music.
Gameplay
Be warned: once you start playing this game, it's genuinely hard to stop. The app includes several dozen melodies, each with its own level of difficulty.
If you're new to the game, it's best to begin with the simpler pieces. Every track, by the way, is performed on the piano.
Each melody is broken down into tiles that scroll down across four lanes of the playing field.
The core idea is to tap the correct tiles at exactly the right moment. It's far more challenging than it first appears, and even one tiny slip can force you to restart the entire level.
The standard playlist features plenty of famous melodies. To buy new musical pieces,
and to unlock additional stages, you'll need in-game currency, which you earn by completing levels.
