Compared with Standalone mode, Controller mode offers more configuration options and can manage a larger number of devices. You can connect to devices in Controller mode in two ways: Local Access or Cloud Access. With Local Access, the Omada app can manage devices when the controller and your mobile device are on the same subnet. With Cloud Access, the app connects to the controller over the internet, so you can manage your devices from anywhere. Compatibility List: Controller mode currently supports hardware cloud controllers (OC200 V1, OC300 V1) and the software Omada Controller v3.0.2 and above. For more features and more stable service, we recommend upgrading your controller to the latest version.
