Background

Set in a fantasy version of feudal Japan, you play as a gifted ninja. Life in the kingdom was peaceful and free of major trouble, until an unexpected event sent every resident into panic and fear.

Nobody knows how or where the aliens came from, but they have burned a string of villages, slaughtered innocent people and left destruction everywhere. Most of the population has fled the land, with little hope of ever returning.

Faced with this, you can't just sit back and watch. These alien monsters will pay for daring to invade your homeland. Will you use every ounce of your fighting skill and swordsmanship to drive back these ferocious invaders of unknown origin?

Expanded weapons for more dynamic swordplay

In Ninja Alien: Survival Arena, each time you defeat a wave of enemies, you unlock a new type of sword for your ninja hero.

The ninja can wield two different swords at once to unleash powerful combo attacks. Owning multiple blades opens the door to countless combinations, and the potential of sword combos comes with unprecedented customization.

Tactics born from sword combinations

More than 20 legendary swords await you in Ninja Alien: Survival Arena, and the number of dual-sword tactics you can build from this roster is considerable.

Winning strategies in Ninja Alien: Survival Arena come from mastering these unique pairings. Once you become truly skilled, you'll know exactly what effect sword A combined with sword B or C produces. Then you can match each combo to the right enemy and defeat foes far faster than when you didn't yet understand how each blade worked.

More than just one enemy

Many different species are pushing into your homeland, including monsters, zombies, wicked bandits and corrupted ninjas. They will appear one after another, ready for you to destroy.

Each enemy type comes in many variations. Sometimes a single creature shows up, and sometimes an entire herd does. With every new situation, you'll need to adapt your fighting tactics if you want to avoid being swallowed by the tide of evil.

Customize your main character's skin

Beyond sharpening his swordsmanship, the ninja can boost his strength and resilience by changing his cloaks, masks and weapons.

By battling hordes of aliens and monsters and performing well through each level, you can collect large amounts of gold coins. Spend that wealth on cloaks, masks and defensive gear beyond swords. These items won't win fights on their own, but they help you maintain stable performance and conserve strength for longer battles against enemies.

Along the way, unexpected treasures and power-up potions will sometimes turn up. Be sure to gather as many as you can, since they can make a big difference during the most intense waves of enemies.

Unlock new maps and worlds

Your hometown isn't the only place struggling against this aggressive alien force. Many other regions of Japan are also at risk of being engulfed in the firestorm. Clear the enemies in your area to unlock neighboring regions and gradually drive out every alien that has landed in feudal Japan.

Each land has its own ecosystem, color palette and combat setting. While these changes don't affect overall gameplay, they add real variety and a sense of progression.
