Why Myspoti?

✨ Spotify with no ads on a free account. There are no audio ads, no video ads, no banners and no 30-second breaks between songs. Myspoti turns off the ad breaks of Spotify's own player, so a free account plays like Premium: choose any track and skip as often as you like. No Premium subscription, no modified Spotify app and no root required.

✨ Download your music in lossless quality. Save a song, an album, a playlist or all your Liked Songs and listen without a connection, whether you're on a plane, on the metro or out of data. The audio is better than Spotify's own: lossless FLAC (CD quality, or 24-bit hi-res when available) or compact AAC files if you prefer. Each track is the same recording, matched by its ISRC on Tidal or Qobuz and verified before it's kept (after a one-time check in Settings). Downloaded playlists stay in sync, so songs you add on Spotify download automatically.

✨ Everything you expect from Spotify, and more. Your home feed, search, library, playlists, podcasts, Spotify Connect and Android Auto, plus word-by-word lyrics, official music videos and song meanings from Genius.

What is it? Myspoti is a Spotify app for Android that you install yourself. You sign in with your usual Spotify account on Spotify's own login page, so Myspoti never sees your password. A free account is enough.

Behind the scenes, the official Spotify Web Player handles playback, hidden inside the app and using your phone's DRM. Myspoti draws its own screens on top and controls it. Your plays are reported to Spotify just as they would be in a browser, so they count for artists, appear in your history and feed into your Wrapped.

Get started ● Tap Log in with Spotify and sign in. ● Choose your sound quality, allow the permissions you want (notifications, Bluetooth, local files and so on), and you're ready to go.

✨ What you get. Listening ● No ads ● Home, search, Browse, New releases and Your Library with folders, plus artist, album, playlist and profile pages, all using Spotify's own content. ● Play any song with shuffle, Smart Shuffle, a reorderable queue (drag to rearrange), repeat, crossfade and a sleep timer. ● Podcasts and audiobooks with their own player (speed control, ±15 seconds, mark as played). ● Spotify Connect, Jam, Bluetooth showing your headphones' name, lock screen controls, notifications, a widget and Android Auto.

Lyrics and videos ● Synced lyrics, word by word when the source provides the timing (or line by line, your choice in Settings), with translation. ● Song meanings from Genius: a light bulb reveals the story behind the song, and a long press on an underlined line shows its explanation, translated into your language. ● Official music videos in sync with the song, which you can watch full screen. Play them silently over the track, or hear the clip's own sound while the song keeps counting on Spotify.

Your playlists ● Create and edit playlists (name, description, cover), sort them, and make them public, private or collaborative. ● Add songs from a Spotify search right inside a playlist, with suggestions. ● Collaborative playlists: invite friends with a link, see who has joined, and who added each song. ● Share any song, album, artist or playlist as a Spotify Code (scannable in the Spotify app) or as a link.

Offline ● Download songs, albums, playlists and Liked Songs in lossless FLAC (CD or hi-res) or compact AAC. Each recording is matched by its ISRC on Tidal or Qobuz and verified before it's kept. ● Downloads are encrypted and stay within Myspoti. Downloaded lists stay in sync with Spotify. ● Your local audio files are supported too.

Questions Is it safe for my account? Myspoti communicates with Spotify the same way its web player does, and you sign in on Spotify's own page. Blocking ads still goes against Spotify's Terms of Use (see the disclaimer below).

“Spotify refused to play this”? Some new or free accounts get turned away by Spotify. Go to Settings and choose Export a diagnostic report, then send it on Discord or in an issue. It contains the app's recent log (what Spotify responded) and your phone's model, but never your password or login tokens.

Will my downloads show up in Wrapped? No. Songs you play from downloads aren't reported to Spotify and only appear in Myspoti's own recap. Songs and music videos you stream still count as usual.

What data leaves my phone? Your playback is sent to Spotify. Lyrics are fetched from lyrics sites, song meanings from Genius, translations from Google Translate, music videos from YouTube, and downloads from the Tidal or Qobuz sources. Nothing is sent to the developer.

Not included: ● No DRM circumvention, and no Spotify audio download. Offline songs are sourced from lossless catalogues, and any song without a lossless source is marked as unavailable. ● No ad is ever counted as listened to.
