The Raspberry Pi method is a more budget-friendly option than the iTach Flex. While the iTach Flex performs better, the Raspberry Pi can be less reliable.

This app supports up to 6 sources and 18 zones. The included ribbon cable can link 3 amplifiers together to reach 18 zones, with the connected amps acting as Master, Slave 1, or Slave 2. Even with several amplifiers, you only need one iTach Flex, which connects to the Master amp.

Important Note: You must have at least one of the devices listed above.
1) The iTach Flex device, either the IP or WiFi version. The OEM Flex cable is the only compatible third-party cable.

3) A Raspberry Pi with a USB-RS232 cable
The app won't work without one of these, since home amps only accept commands over serial connections and have no network capability. Adding one of these devices makes the serial port reachable over the internet. You can purchase them through the links below, and the iTach Flex is the recommended choice.
If you're unfamiliar with Raspberry Pi or uncomfortable working with scripts, avoid the Raspberry Pi method, as setup can be frustrating.
